IN THE NEWS   A BETTER ALTERNATIVE

January 2013:
AMC now fully operational with IQMS ERP software: Our cross functional team led by Hollie Gregg successfully implemented IQMS software in under 6 months. Congratulations to the team for all of the hard work and dedication.

March 2013:
South Dakota calls: Harley West, AMC Engineering Program Manager, and his wife are leaving for truly greener pastures. They've purchased a campground in the Black Hills of South Dakota and are fulfilling a life-long dream. We wish you both the best, and we'll miss you. Thank you for your numerous contributions to our organization, Harley.

April 2013:
AMC Hires New Engineering Program Manager: We are delighted to welcome Jeff Fouche to the team at AMC as our Engineering Program Manager. He replaces the departing Harley West. Jeff, a mechanical engineer by education, comes to AMC from his own company, Inceptus Inc, where he fine tuned his command of SolidWorks while providing product design for injection molding, sheet metal, machined parts and other disciplines as well as value engineering. Welcome to AMC, Jeff!

June 2013:
AMC awarded new programs: We continue to grow. We recently were awarded components and mechanical assemblies for three new programs launching in May 2014!

June 2013:
ISO Registration update: With the implementation of IQMS now complete, our team is now focused on the process of preparing for ISO registration audit. Preliminary plan is to conduct the audit in mid 2014.

December 2013:
Metal to Plastics conversion: We're in the process of once again helping our customers. This time we're helping re-design and expensive welded sheet metal enclosure and converting it to a functional plastic component without compromising the structural integrity of the part. Future benefits include a better looking cosmetic part incorporating unique contemporary designs, lower part cost, and reduced weight for the assembly.

February 2014:
New Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Tech: AMC is excited to announce Kasey McKeen has been promoted this new position! She takes over for the departed Mat Kelson, who opted for a career as a train conductor. Kasey has been with AMC in a different capacity, and her strong commitment to customer service, organizational skills, and teamwork will be a welcome addition to our team. We look forward to Kasey's contributions in her new role.

AMC welcomes new Engineering Assistant to team: We are excited to welcome Mel Weiss to the AMC family. Mel comes to us with an excellent background in manufacturing. She brings with her a unique knowledge of document control, processes and manufacturing. Her strong interpersonal skills and proven track record of success are welcome additions to our team as we continue our ISO journey and improve our engineering capabilities for our customers.

April 2014:
Happy 1-year anniversary to Jeff Fouche
AMC welcomes new Buyer/AP Clerk: We are pleased to welcome Tia Timmer to the AMC family. Tia joins us at an exciting time of growth, and replaces Chris McGehee. Tia's past experience in similar manufacturing roles will help make her a quick contributor to our growing professional team. Welcome Tia!
